• Command the Battalion
• Direct Staff to Prepare Plans and Training
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and directives
• Coordinate actions with SAI, AI, and Principal
• Supervise Company Commanders and monitor the execution of their duties
• Wants to prepare the Battalion for the Honor Unit Inspection next year

Executive Officer (XO):

• Ensures the effective operations of the cadet staff
• May command in the absence of the BC
• Keep the Command Briefing presentation updated

Command Sergeant Major (CSM):

• Right-hand man to the Battalion Commander
• Monitor and direct all NCOs in the battalion
• Report attendance to Battalion Commander
• Wants to prepare all veteran and incoming cadets for the Honor Unit With Distinction Inspection in 2004

S-1, Personnel Officer:

• Keep updated records on all cadets
• Keep updated battalion files, automated and hard copy
• Monitor the battalion funds
• Prepare and manage the battalion budget
• Help prepare and direct Awards Ceremony and Dining In
• Wants to make all files up to date and accurate

S-2, Public Information Officer:

• Tell the Yellowjacket Battalion to the campus and community
• Maintain Battalion Scrap Book
• Video tape special events
• Write monthy report about the Battalion for the NHS Newsletter
• Record late cadets to homeroom
• Maintain display case; create additional display opportunities
• Perform security checks of sensitive items

S-3, Operations Officer:

• Prepare weekly training schedules
• Ensure schedules are posted and distributed
• Organize events, reviews, parades, and extracurricular activities
• Coordinate field trips; competitions
• Preform any other duties directed by the BC or XO

S-4, Logistics Officer:

• Issue uniforms and uniform parts to cadets
• Order uniform parts and other supplies
• Store and maintain all supplies
• Wants to make organise all supplies and improve storage facility

S-5, Automation Officer:

• Manage and maintain all Battalion computers and electronics
• Assist all cadets and cadre who have access with computer use
• Prepare the slide show presentation for the Command Briefing Presentation
• Build and maintain the Battalion website
• Assist S-2 with physical security of sensitive items
• Wants to obtain a multimedia projector and a copy machine for the battalion
